Overview

PyChem is a Python module that allows to use the chemical evolution of the GEAR model, a physical model used to evolve galaxies. The details of the chemical evolution model have been published in Revaz et al. 2012 as well as in the Sebastien Poirier Thesis. In addition to the core the chemical evolution model, the module provides a set of tools, useful to generate chemistry tables and to compute and display physical quantities related to the chemistry.
