The GRB catalog paper containing the polarization results for all 14 GRBs for which reasonable polarization analysis is possible was accepted for publication in A&A. The paper can currently be found in here.

All data used in this publication (photon lists, energy response and polarization response) will soon be uploaded to this website (see GRB light curves) while the software required to quickly reproduce the results, or to perform follow up analysis can be downloaded here (it requires a working version of the 3ML framework which can be found here).

July 2019

After being in display at the National Museum POALR FMS has been in display for a while at Beijing science museum.

July 2019

According to the plan, the Tiangong-2 Space Laboratory has completed all the expansion tests and will opportunistic deorbit and reentry the atmosphere on Beijing time July 19, 2019. A small amount of residual load will fall into the scheduled safe waters of the south Pacific Ocean (160 to 90 degrees West, 30 to 45 degrees South).

June 2019

We just received a letter from UN Office for Outer Space Affairs saying:

I am pleased to inform you and your team that, after a thorough review and comprehensive selection process, your proposal, titled “POLAR-2: Gamma-Ray Burst Polarimetry on the China Space Station”, in response to the first Announcement of Opportunity inviting space experiments on board the China Space Station (CSS) under the United Nations/China Cooperation on the Utilization of the CSS initiative, has been selected for implementation.
