Data inputs

We describe here how to retrieve spectral time-series from spectrographs to which ANTARESS can be applied to.

DACE platform

You can retrieve from DACE the time series of echelle spectra for many spectrographs.

First, create an account and contact the PI of the dataset if it is not yet public, so that they can grant you access.

Then, search for the name of your host star in the Radial Velocities section of the dashboard. Once in the star page, go to Data selection and select the latest version of the data for your spectograph(s) of interest. You can then go back to the Time series visualization and select the exposures you want to retrieve (typically the transit datasets). Go to Data download and retrieve the data in S2D format. This will download an archive that contains one directory per observing night. You only need the *S2D_A.fits, *S2D_BLAZE_A.fits, and potentially *S2D_SKYSUB_A.fits files and can delete the rest.
